Terms of Service – The Naturopathic Dispensary & Co.

These Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Refunds & Returns Policy, and Privacy Policy apply to all use of this website and services provided by The Naturopathic Dispensary & Co. ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website, ordering products, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Eligibility & Practitioner-Only Services

Our products and services are intended exclusively for qualified health practitioners (including students where applicable).

By placing an order or creating an account, you confirm that:

  • You are a qualified health practitioner, or
  • You are a final-year student enrolled in a recognised health qualification and ordering solely for personal educational or personal useor
  • You are acting under the direction of a qualified practitioner

Final-year students are not permitted to prescribe, dispense to others, or supply products to clients.

We reserve the right to request proof of qualifications or enrolment and to refuse or cancel access if eligibility requirements are not met.

2. Nature of Products & Services

We supply:

  • Practitioner-only herbal ingredients
  • Custom-blended teas and compounded products
  • Practitioner-only nutritional supplements
  • Dispensing, blending, packing, and fulfilment services

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment to end clients. All products are supplied strictly according to practitioner instructions. Clinical responsibility remains solely with the prescribing practitioner.

No therapeutic claims are made in relation to any products supplied.

3. Custom & Practitioner-Directed Products

Many products supplied are custom-made or compounded based on practitioner instructions.

You acknowledge that:

  • Custom or practitioner-directed products are prepared specifically for an individual client
  • These products cannot be resold or reused
  • Accuracy of formulation instructions is the responsibility of the practitioner

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD)
  • Prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise
  • Payment must be received in full prior to dispatch

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

 

5. Practitioner Responsibilities

Practitioners are responsible for:

  • Ensuring products are appropriate for the client
  • Providing accurate formulation, dosage, and administration instructions
  • Compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory obligations
  • Maintaining client confidentiality

We are not responsible for misuse, inappropriate prescribing, incorrect dosing, or use of products contrary to practitioner instructions.  

 

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
  • Our liability is limited to resupply of goods or refund of the purchase price where required under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, text, and materials are the intellectual property of The Naturopathic Dispensary & Co. and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

 

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion where these terms are breached or eligibility requirements are no longer met.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have exclusive jurisdiction.

 

10. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible:

  • Orders may be cancelled only if production or compounding has not yet commenced
  • Once products have been weighed, blended, compounded, or prepared, cancellation is no longer possible
  • Custom or practitioner-directed products cannot be cancelled once production begins

If a cancellation is approved, any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with our Refunds & Returns Policy.

11. Right to Refuse Registration & Terminate Access

Dispensary & Co. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, decline, suspend, or terminate any practitioner, wholesale, or business registration or account at any time, with or without notice, where we believe the applicant or account holder may pose a conflict of interest, direct competition, reputational risk, misuse of services, breach of terms, or any other risk to the business, its operations, clients, or affiliated practitioners. Submission of a registration application does not guarantee approval or ongoing access to our services.
